Job description

We are a leading company in the commercialization and distribution of chemical products in the Iberian Peninsula. Our activity covers also to other Mediterranean countries through our affiliates in France, Morocco, Algeria, Italy, Greece and Turkey and we are also expanding our presence in new markets where we might consolidate as chemical distributors. With any projects realized in Turkey we have an office in Istanbul for1 2 years.

 

Therefore we are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer:

  • Starting up new customers and dealerships in the defined territories.
  • Representing the company in an appropriately professional manner in accordance with its policies.
  • High awareness of local competitive conditions/actions and prompt reporting of same to management.
  • Preparing activity and sales reports, reports on market development, trends and competition regularly.
  • Maintaining regular contact with all customers including key accounts by customer visits, demonstrations, negotiations in order to achieve targets.
  • Developing new business areas and customers.
  • Introduction of new products into the market

Requirements

  • University Degree (Chemical Engineering preferred or Department of Chemistry ).
  • Min 3-5 years of experience in at least 3 of the specified sectors (Adhesives, Polyurethane, Coatings, Detergency, Construction).
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Strong relationship building and negotiation skills and ability.
  • Self disciplined & respecting deadlines.
  • High level of adaptability.
  • Proactive, achievement - oriented, creative
  • Very good communication skills and result oriented.
  • Customer focused and self-motivated.
  • Have a valid and clear driving licence
  • Full computer literacy and conversant with MS Office
  • Completed military service for male candidates
  • Adaptable personality and team work skills
  • Doesn't have travel restrictions
